Masterclass Regulations

Participants are free to choose their own repertoire. The prepared works should generally correspond to the level of difficulty of a Solo Sonata or Partita by Bach, a classical, romantic or contemporary work. The masterclasses are also open to talented children and youth. The masterclasses include individual lessons (3 hours incl. orchestral studies), audition training, workshops and lectures. Chamber music lessons are possible by arrangement. Participants are encouraged to listen to lessons of their colleagues.
The best achievements are presented in internal performances and public concerts in Kloster Schöntal. Outstanding pianists are available to accompany the participants in lessons and performances, based on availability and without extra costs for the participants.
