Competition 2022

Competition 2022 will be held in two phases:

1st phase:

The 1st selection competition will be held ONLINE between 2022, June16. and 19.

2nd phase:

The staging of the 2nd Selection Examination and Final will take place LIVE (in persona) at Schöntal Monastery between 26 August (arrival) and 04 September 2022 (departure).

Please pay close attention to the timetable of the 2022 competition.

The competition is aimed at young artists up to the age of 21.

Violin players of all nations, divided into three age groups (up to 15 years, up to 18 years, up to 21 years), can participate in the competition. The cut-off date for determining membership of the age groups is the closing day of the respective competition.
