Several jury-members stayed on to conduct masterclasses over the following twelve days with 78 participants from 14 countries.
Michele Auclair, the French Juror, told me later how successful and enjoyable they were and that the two public concerts in the Schloss Öhringen were a complete sell-out.
For those fortunate enough to take part, there could have been no happier way of spending a few summer weeks in a fairy-talc setting where the heavens were indeed hung with violins.
